Petrina from Homegrown Florida

Hi! I’m Petrina with Homegrown Florida. I am a gardening and self-sufficiency content creator from Florida. I love cooking what I grow, preserving my harvest by canning, dehydrating, freeze drying, and freezing, making my own seasonings, teas, and medicines, and making bread with my sourdough starter. The mission of my channel is to provide real world experience and support to gardeners and urban homesteaders who desire to grow and preserve their own food in an organic way. My step-by-step guides and tips provide gardeners of all experience levels with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful while respecting and working with the natural world.

Welcome to my Seed Club Subscription!

This page is for those who received the Spring 2025 delivery which shipped on December 20th 2024.

  1. Introduction Video: Please watch the video below which is an introduction specific to this delivery.
  2. Plant Profiles: I have created a 1 page PDF file for each seed packet included in the delivery. Please review and download for complete instructions on how to plant/grow each included variety of seed.
  3. YouTube Video Tutorials: If I have a YouTube video tutorial about growing any of the included seeds, I will add the link so you can easily find them. Video is my preferred way of communication and teaching how to grow crops. However, I dont have a video for everything yet. It takes months to film and edit each video. That is why I created the plant profiles so you still get all the information you need to be successful even if I dont have a YouTube video for it yet.
  4. Planting Layouts: I have included a few planting layouts that you can use as a guide or inspiration on how to plant and configure the growing space with these seeds.
  5. Check This Page Often: I am building the seed subscription service and any updates/changes/additions will be added to this page.
  6. Feedback: This is the first time I have offered a seed subscription service. Your feedback is extremely valuable to me. Please email me with any questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, billing issues etc... at info@jerrasgarden.com.

It is essential that you know your last spring frost date, so you start these seeds at the correct time, as indicated in the plant profile. If you do not know your last spring frost date, please enter in your zip code on this website and it will give you an average date: Plant Maps

Each seed packet was chosen because it will grow very well in a springtime garden and you should harvest before it gets too hot (this is a concern for hot climate gardeners).
