Tomato growers agree that Amish Paste is one of the best tomatoes for making tomato sauce and paste. The tomatoes are big, meaty, square-ish, and look like large Roma tomatoes. Inside, they have tasty red flesh that's just right for making paste and canning. These tomatoes taste amazing when cooked or exposed to heat which develops its flavor. This heirloom comes from a group of Amish people in Wisconsin.

When To Sow Seeds: General guidelines recommend to start seeds indoors, about 8 weeks before your last spring frost date. If you gardening in a hot climate (no snow areas), can also sow seeds indoors to plant in the fall, and grow straight through winter and spring (avoid growing tomatoes during the summer).

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
