Black Beauty Zucchini Heirloom Squash Vegetable Seeds

This is a perfect standard market variety of zucchini. Also known as courgette, Black Beauty is very productive and produces dark green glossy zucchini. Harvest when they are 6-8 inches long for the best flavor and texture. Be vigilant about harvesting because If left on the vine for just a few more days, they get very long (almost 24 inches) and the texture is not that great for eating. I like to hand pollinate the female squash flowers to ensure each one will produce fruit. With that said, I recommend you plant at least 3 plants so that way you always have a male flower to use for pollinating the female flowers.

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/2” deep

Sowing: Direct sowing is preferred after the last frost. In warmer climates can also direct sow at end of summer for a fall harvest.
