Think of this as a mini version of a pansy. Plants get to be around 9 inches tall. Ideal for cooler weather, Johnny Jump Ups can be planted in early spring or fall and thrive in moist, well-draining soil with partial to full sun. Simply scatter the seeds, barely cover with soil, and water consistently to encourage germination. Germination: 7-14 days
Seed Sowing Depth: barely cover with soil
Sowing: Direct sow after your last spring frost date. Barely cover with soil. Keep the soil lightly moist to help with germination. You can also start them indoors 6–8 weeks before your last spring frost date.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
