Blue Sage Salvia Native Wildflower Heirloom Seeds For Pollinators & Bees

This perennial wildflower, also called Mealy Blue Sage, is native to Texas. Spikes of bright blue flowers attract loads of bees and other pollinators to the garden. Bigger bumblebees especially love them. I have even seen hummingbirds on these flowers too. The plant grows to 2-3 feet tall, prefers full sun, and is fairly drought tolerant once established. Its one of the few flowers that bloom despite over 100F summer days here in my Florida garden. The end of summer is a "dearth" period for bees, meaning not much is blooming in the wild for them to forage nectar/pollen. So planting a lot of blue sage really helps the bee populations during this time of the year. Makes a great addition to native wildflower gardens and meadows.
