Common Mint - Spearmint - Culinary Herb Heirloom Seeds

Mint is an awesome herb to add to your herb garden collection. It thrives in warmer climates without much care. I use it to make mojitos and I love to cook with it, especially in Mediterranean type dishes. Please be advised that this plant spreads easily. The branches easily root if they touch soil. It is best to grow in a container to control spread and like most herbs, it enjoys dryer soils. Mint will grow so much in its own container that it will basically choke itself and die. To prevent this, it is good to divide the plant every now and then and pot up in new soil. This is a perennial herb in warmer climates.

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/8 inch

Sowing: I recommend to start in seed trays 8 - 10 weeks before the last frost date. Keep moist for proper germination.
