Echinacea Purple Coneflower
Echinacea Purple Coneflower
Echinacea Purple Coneflower Heirloom Perennial Flower Seeds
A North American native flower, Echinacea makes a beautiful addition to the garden not only for its blooms but also for its medicinal properties. The leaves, petals, and roots can be dried and used to make tea. It is said to boost the immune system and help treat skin irritations. Pollinators love its large flat purple blooms. It grows best in full sun, well draining soil, and doesn't like too much water. I like to plant it like my culinary herbs, which is in a container so it has better drainage. It is a perennial in warmer climates.
