The Everglades tomato is a true Florida native tomato that grows wild in the Everglades. This plant survives hot, humid, and dry conditions like a champ. Plants are low to the ground and sprawl horizontally very quickly. It does not require staking. I particularly love using this as a edible ground cover in spots of my garden that are bare or not being used. The tomatoes are small currant size and have a good tomato flavor that I describe as being on the "umami" side. I don't fertilize, water, or spray for pests or diseases. Once established, they will reseed around your garden very easily. They produce a lot. I like to add them into salads or roast them and toss with pasta.

Please understand that I only offer USPS flat rate priority mail options for plants/bulbs/rhizomes. The longer they stay in transit, the greater the risk that it will arrive dead or damaged. I just want to ensure that plants arrive alive/healthy to my customers.

- No returns or refunds. Since there are so many factors that affect propagation and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once shipped. These are the same seeds and plants I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
- Availability of seeds/plants in this shop varies depending on what I have growing that season. With that said, please be advised that seeds/plants are available in limited quantities. Once sold out they may or may not be available again.

Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.
Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.
Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
