Mammoth Dill Herb Heirloom Seeds
Anethum graveolens
Listing is for 1 packet of 25 seeds

This variety of dill has gorgeous and frilly dark green leaves. It can grow as tall as 6 feet high. It produces a large yellow flower heads at the end of the season which in turn, produce a lot of seeds. This herb reseeds around my garden easily. The leaves have a wonderful tangy classic dill flavor which can be used in so many recipes such as a flavoring for marinades, pickling brine, and dips. My favorite recipe with dill is Greek tzatziki sauce. It also attracts beneficial insects, pollinators, and butterflies. Dill is a host plant for Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars. I have seen Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars on my own plants here in Florida.

Follow me on social media because I talk a lot about the same seed varieties I sell here in my shop and gardening tips. IG, YT, and TikTok: jerrasgarden.

PLANTING
Germination: 10-14 days

Seed Sowing Depth: lightly cover with soil, about 1/8 inch

Sowing: Can direct sow or start in seed trays. In Florida I grow this fall, winter, and spring. It doesn't do well during the heat of the summer. Up north you can grow spring, summer, and fall.
