It was traditionally grown by the Maya people, who prized it for its flavor and nutritional value. This squash has a striking blue-green skin and deep orange flesh. Cucurbita Maxima

Germination: 5-10 days

Seed Sowing Depth: 1" - 1 1/2” deep

Sowing: Direct sowing is preferred after the last frost. In warmer climates can also direct sow at end of summer for a fall harvest. Just make sure there is a minimum of 120 days before the first frost so you can harvest before winter comes.
