RARE Indian Snake Cucumber Melon Heirloom Vegetable Seeds
Cucumis melo
Listing is for 1 packet of 10 seeds

This is a very rare varitey of "cucumber" from India that grows well in the heat. It is actually in the melon family instead of cucumber, but has a very mild cucumber like flavor. The outer skin is light green and can be eaten even if not peeled. Can be eaten fresh or pickled. Harvest when the "cucumbers" are no more than 2 inches wide for the best flavor and texture. I found that plants are very vigorous, have a decent disease resistance, and grow well even in the high heat of my Florida garden. This makes for a wonderful summer garden crop and cucumber subsitute.

Check out my cucumber growing guide for full instructions on how to grow this crop on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/_aj19Mv2Lsg
