Komatsuna Mustard Greens Heirloom Vegetable Seeds

Komatsuna is a Japanese spinach mustard. The flavor is reminiscent of mustard greens and cabbage. Leaves are long and abundant. Komatsuna is known to be very nigh in calcium, beta carotene, and vitamins. Can be harvested as baby greens or even used to sprout micro greens. Great food source for chickens as well.

Brassica rapa var perviridis

Germination: 5-10 days

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/4” deep, barely press the seeds into the surface of the soil

Sowing: Can direct sow or start in seed trays. Typically grown in fall, winter, and spring. If you live in colder climates you can grow spring thru fall.

Days to maturity: 70 days
