Lemon Balm has a delicious lemony (or in my opinion lemon grass) type of flavor. It is a perennial herb in zones 3 to 9. It is related to the mint family and has a similar appearance and growth habit. I love to pluck a few fresh leaves and steep in hot water to make a refreshing tea. It is a versatile herb that has been used for various purposes for centuries.

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/8 inch
Sowing: I recommend to start in seed trays 8 - 10 weeks before the last frost date. Keep moist for proper germination.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
