Lime Green Mizuna Seeds
Lime Green Mizuna Seeds - Japanese Mustard Greens Heirloom Vegetable Seeds
This is one of my favorite mustard greens because of its delicate leaves and savory flavor. When picked young, the leaves have a savory flavor. When allowed to mature, the leaves have a stronger peppery flavor. I prefer to harvest young leaves for fresh eating. The lime green color and frilly leaves make a striking contrast against lettuces used in my salads. Mustards are a close relative of kale and collards, but are not as cold hardy. This plant has a clumping type of habit. I like to harvest individual leaves instead of the whole plant so it keeps growing new leaves for an extended harvest.
