Musquee de Provence Pumpkin Heirloom Vegetable Seeds
This beautiful heirloom pumpkin is originally from the southern part of France. It has a deep orange/red flesh with skin that changes color as it grows, starting from dark green and ending up as either tan or brown. The Musquee de Provence pumpkin has a distinct, flat shape with deep ridges and takes a while to fully mature. People like it not only for its decorative appearance but also because it can be stored for a long time. These pumpkins can often reach a weight of 20 pounds. This pumpkin is part of the Cucurbita Moschata family which boosts thick woody stems that make it harder for squash bugs or the squash vine borer to get inside. This helps increase your chances of harvest success, especially if your gardening in areas prone to these types of pests.
