Listing is for one rooted cutting. Plants are grown in 72 cell trays so that they will be rooted but small enough for efficient shipping.

Okinawan spinach is an edible green with lots of uses in the garden. It is a tropical green that is perennial in warmer climates. It can grow in full sun or shade. It thrives in hot climates and wet soils. The top side of the leaves are glossy dark green while the underside is a beautiful purple/violet.
- It is said to lower cholesterol.
- Leaves can be eaten raw in salads or cooked like in stir frys.
- Flavor is mild. It is not mucilaginous like for example, malabar spinach.
- It is great as an edible ground cover. I use it as a live mulch under my fruity trees. The plant crowds out weeds.
- The plant is a low growing vine that doesn't attach to other plants or the ground. Therefore, it is easy to pull out or remove if needed.
- They grow quickly during the summer time which creates biomass for composting.
- It is perennial in warmer climates such as zones 9+. It can get damaged/killed by temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. In colder climates, take cuttings before winter as they root easily and replant after the last frost has passed.

Please understand that I only offer USPS flat rate priority mail options for plants/bulbs/rhizomes. The longer they stay in transit, the greater the risk that it will arrive dead or damaged. I just want to ensure that plants arrive alive/healthy to my customers.

- No returns or refunds. Since there are so many factors that affect propagation and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once shipped. These are the same seeds and plants I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
- Availability of seeds/plants in this shop varies depending on what I have growing that season. With that said, please be advised that seeds/plants are available in limited quantities. Once sold out they may or may not be available again.

Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.
Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.
Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
