Apache Blackberry cultivar is known for:

- Very high yields per plant. Therefore, this is one of the top varieties grown in commercial blackberry farms.
- This is the largest sized blackberry producing cultivar that is available
- Berries are more firm compared to others so they hold up better after harvesting
- On average has a 10 BRIX rating
- This is a floricane type blackberry, which means it produces fruit on second-year canes
